Hi.
My name is Shazli Shamsuddin.
I’m a sports photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and very passionate in photographing motor racing, soccer and golf just to name a few. However, i would love to try new things.
Before deciding on this journey as a full time professional photographer, I was an IT Officer for one of local university during which photography is a part time passion.
After 4 years juggling time between photography and IT officer, it was time to pursue this ultimate passion of mine.
Its been a wonderful journey since then. I met bunch of wonderful friends that was responsible in giving the education along the way through the challenging years and i would like to thanks them all for their solid support. I am grateful for these wonderful and exciting years.
I started taking sports photography as my passion when I started photographing for The Red Warriors official portal’s theredwarriors.com and their official magazine Dunia Warriors.
The Red Warriors was the nickname given to Kelantan Football Team, a local team that has won ‘Treble Trophy’ – FA Cup, Super League, Malaysia Cup during that time.
These experiences then allowed me to be a stringer for a local magazine Dunia Sukan.
As time goes by, I was glad that I was part of the official photographer for some of international event held in Malaysia such as Sime Darby LPGA, Maybank Malaysia Open, AFF Suzuki Cup, AFC Cup, EPL Asia Tour, Barcelona Asia Tour, Borrusia Dortmund Tour & Asian Paralimpiad Games.
These opportunities allowed me to contribute to the local media scene for motor racing event such as Formula 1, MotoGP, Japan SuperGT & WSBK and some local races like Malaysian Cub Prix, Sepang 1000km Race, Malaysia Superbike Championship which previously known as Malaysia Super Series.
During these lovely years, I had the opportunity being asked to initiate and organize local portraiture shoot for sports personalities that ranges from athletes, sports team to racing team for the above event.
Currently I am the official photographer for the Asia Road Racing Championship and Malaysian Cub Prix – the grass root championship that produce Malaysian rider to World GP such as Zulfahmi Khairuddin, Hafizh Syahrin, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman, Khairul Idham Pawi, Zaqhwan Zaidi & Hafiq Azmi.
Above all, I would like to express my million thanks to Nikon & NPS Malaysia that have given me their full support to ensure a smooth path on this colorful career of mine.
